It’s Our Night!!! Sherpherd English Medium School Stardard 7 pupils entering their Valedictory Ceremony in style on Thursday night in Molepolole. The ceremony was a farewell oration to the stardard 7 pupils who recently completed their examinations and will be attending junior schools from next year. Among the guest list  was Member of Parliament for Molepolole South Dr Mmati who congratulated the kids and commended the parents who were supporting their children in  their educational journey that is starting.

With her is her team Baitlhatswe Gao Mokoke (left) and Boitshepo Tshupo (second left). Ms Makgopa noted that the numbers of men who come for circumcision are generally low. Right now about 35% of men have circumcised and they hope to reach 80% by 2016. The Paramount Chief of the Bakwena had a chance to view the mobile vehicle the team used for circumcision operations on their reach outs. Ms Makgopa also said with the mobile vehicle about 10 operation can be carried out in a day but only about 2 or 3 men come forward for circumcision in a day.

She highlighted that local businesses face problems like start-up capital, quality of goods and market .She advised participants to always seek help from their respective council, LEA, CEDA and  YDF.

19 years old Lorraine Galefete explaining her artwork on Wednesday titled "1966 Lifestyle", which depicts how Batswana lived in the early years after independence. She obtained 2nd position at the President Day Regional Art Competitions held at Kgosi Sechele I Museum in Molepolole. Her other artwork titled Dikgafela came in 1st position. Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture Senior Art Curator Mr Dimpho Tumisang (not in photo) said about 367 people in Kweneng District applied to compete but only 147 submitted their artworks for the competition. He said those whose artworks obtained position 1, 2 and 3 in various categories will go for the final competitions in Gaborone where the winner takes away P10 000.00.

Many youth flocking around businessman Mr Manhar Mooney to get his business cards so that they can get in contact with him and hopefully make him their mentor. He is commonly known as the countrywide Trans chain stores owner as well as the I Towers co-owner. Mr Mooney had attended the Botswana Jobs Fair on Tuesday afternoon to give a lecture about driving the youth towards a sustainable employment. He explained in his lecture that he has 63 years being self-employed and this came about because he always identifies a need in the community and fills it.
